What is digital print?
Digital print is a process whereby we print your image or design using a special type of ink and heat apply it to a product. The ink is dyed on to the product giving a very soft feel with vibrant colours. We can print very detailed or complex designs on white or light pastel coloured products.

Why should I choose digital print?
If you want to upload a logo, photo or image then digital print is the only print method that will be available to you. This is because the file you uploaded is made up of pixels, each varying in colour to make up your photo or image. Like a photo printer you may have at home we are able to print your design as it appears on screen and apply it to the product for a photo quality finish.

What products are available for digital print?
Each product we use for digital print has a polymer based surface which accepts the ink under extreme heat and pressure for a photo quality finish.

What type of files can I upload?
You can upload the following file formats for digital print .jpg; .gif and .png. If you are creating the image yourself we recommend saving the file as a .png with a transparent background.

Why is there a white background to my logo or image when I upload a digital image?
When you upload a .jpeg; .gif or .png and a white background is visible it is because the original file you uploaded has a white background embedded in it. This is not a problem when it comes to producing your product. It is not possible to print white ink, so if there is white in your image we let the base product colour show through to make up the white in your image.
If you have a white border around your logo for example on a white mouse mat we will print all the colours but white, leaving just your image.

Do you print the white area around my uploaded image?
When we digitally print your design we do not print the white background as there is no way of printing white. This means that the garment or item base colour is used to make up the white in the design.
